This is a follow-up with thanks for the discussion regarding battery cables a week or so ago. I too had replaced my TO-30 cables with off the shelf at the local Wallymart. Since reading the posts, I had a Battery Store construct replacement cables using OO gauge -- heavier than needed, but that's what they had. Starting is SO much easier now. I imagine I'm not the only one who often just reads the posts here, gleaning the knowledge and as time and Money permits, putting those ideas to work. Thanks to all who helped there.

Dale is your TO 30 a 12 volt system? I have a 35 that doestn't start well and maybe I need heavier cables, mine is 12 volt. Looks like they are 4 gauge cables.

Hi Dale
I couldnt agree more. The info on this site is 1st rate all the way. As well I was watching with great interest the disscusion on battery cable size. Like yourself I went to my Local TSC hardware store and bought off the wrack cables. In my case I went with the ones that looked the best, disregarding size. I now have the correct ones on and bingo, she fires right up. Keep the knowlege coming guys. I check this forum every morning over a cup of coffee at the office. Thanks for sharing
