I am cleaning up my Uncle's estate and he had a TO-35 , serial number 155634 and has a date of Jan 25-55. Would this be the date of manufactuer and the correct serial number as shown. I need to put a value on it so a ball park{realistic} number would be appreciated. There is also a fairly new snowblower hooked up. He put new tires and battery on the tractor about 2 years ago and also had it tuned up. Thanks for your help and if you want please e-mail me direct
Thanks Bill

In addition to the obvious issues of condition, etc., the value of the 35 is also influenced by whether it is a Deluxe version or not. The deluxe has a two stage clutch (noticeable notch as you depress it) that allows separation of the PTO function from the movement of the tractor without taking it out of gear (live PTO). The deluxe is generally worth a few hundred more dollars than the standard version. A good deluxe with good tires and sheet metal and all mechanics in good condition in my area can bring as much as $3500. The deluxe 35 is the transition tractor for MHF and functionally is not much different (really) from the modern small tractors from MF. Thus it is very desireable.

Bill
First question...yes you are correct.
Second in alot harder. I'd say if it runs, looks decent, does not smoke and 3pt work good its worth no less than $2500.00, Then again it depends on your location and the attachments you are selling with it.
hope this gives you a starting point.
best wishes

155634 was made in 1955 but I would have thought that it was later than January more towards middle of the year.
