I was given a Furgeson tractor and don't know what I have. It has a serial # TO 70354 on the steering column and on the engine is Z-129 E-310477. All my other tractors are all case vac's.
Can anyone tell me what horsepower and what year?
It also has a front loader on it.

My dad had a Ford Ferguson tractor that he used on the farm then, he used it loading gravel in the gravel pit. It now is with my Great niece and her husband, he will restore it eventually. I have written a book for her two sons, 4 and 6, who now crawl all over it.....the 5th grneration. My question is..... where could I get pictures of a tractor of this vintage to use in the book????

Easiest and cheapest way is to check the links in the left column on this page. Look under Tractor Photos, Vintage Photos and Photo Ads. You can do a search for what you want. Having said that, the big bookstores carry lots of tractor books, so check places like Borders, etc.

Mary Lou, I could take a picture of this tractor but I have already started working on it. I have removed the loader and the wheels and started removing the sheet metal. It will take me about a year to put it back together unless I find the parts I need for a Case VAI and then I will start working on the Case instead.
I have been myself looking at pictures of Ferguson Tractors in the gallery.

It is a TO-30 model. This tractor is very strong for its size. It will pull like the Ford NAA or 600. The overhead valve engine is easy to work on, but prone to cracks in the block if it overheats. Use a good thermostat and temp gage. Parts are readily available thru the mail or from the MF dealer. The one really useful addition to the tractor is to add position control to the hydraulics, which you can do with a Fergy Postioner or Zane Thang (search archives, also on Ford N Board) for about $80.

It is a 1951 model. The horse power rating is about 25. Is the front end loader a Ferguson make?
