I've run a Freeman Loader on my TEA-20. It works great but it's heavy. You just learn how to muscle it while moving by the inch. I've moved many a 1000-1500lb boulder around with it. I've leveled hills and hauled dirt and gravel for my landscape projects and for my neighbors. I live on a mountain so I've really enjoyed the two-stage transmission. It goes really low, to a crawl. My rear tires are full of sodium chloride (or whatever that is). The tractor weighs tons and ran great until the last time I ran her hard. Now I'm looking at a rebuild. Still can't stop with the brakes, though. Something to think about if you live in hill country.

The loaders with front pump off the 8N Fords will fit. You can find them pretty easy in various ads. Most are Dearborn or Wagner. But as another post said, you will have to modify or remove your hood, as it will not open with the loader. Also you will have to remove lights, if any (you can mount lights on top of the loader).

i only have two bolts to remove my hood ,only takes a minute or two, loader sure makes any extra work worth it.

paul, i have a tea 2085, with a front end loader on it, this tractor does eveything , i have a big snow bucket on the front ,move dirt , manure , even leveled land with it, works great , tractor wouldn,t be able to half as much without it, i don,t find it that hard to steer ,just get it movin a bit as your turning, mine runs of s front mount pump, it pays its keep around here.there are some pictures of it over on kountry time photo gallery, not all that good but might give you an idea what you can do with a loader.

it's your tractor but a to-20 is not a good loader tractor. front end is light no p.s. you have a hood that tips up and to do a good job you should have a aux. hyd.pump but lots of people do us them with loaders

I have an old skyline loader pirated from a Ford N. it is on my TEA 2085. It runs off a front mounted pump. I had to change the front wheels to 5.50-16's. Its a rickety old turd, but it works good and I don't have to be an acrobat to get in and out of it. Steering can be hard, but a rear weight helps a ton(pun).
Happy new year!

Paul,we had mounted on a TE-20 and later the TO-30 an F-10 Farmhand cable loader. We had a hay buck or grapple fork we used depending what time of year it was. We never had trouble with the tractors or loader.Stacked hay in the summer, changed heads and hauled in the hay in winter. Tractor was still going strong but the loader was wore out.
