I have heard of a front mounted snow blade that is raised and lowered from the 3 point hitch using pullies and a steel cable. I have looked and looked but have yet to see a picture or plans. This sounds like such a great idea, I'm sure it's been done . Has anyone seen one or have info on one?????

The cable lift blades were commonly used on Ford Ns. They were sold by Ferguson and later by Dearbon Motor Corp. You can get assembly and parts manuals from ">Link
I bought a cable lift plow a few years ago for $300 to put on my TE 20 but took it off after one winter when I got a hydraulic lift plows for my Ford 640 and my 3000.
They come up every so often on the classifieds.

I was looking at these when I first bought my TO35. I heard both good and bad...the bad being they don't lift very far off the ground. Also, they tie up the 3 pt. But otherwise are ok. All I have left from my search is this pic for one that was on eBay last fall.
