Morning Everyone,,, I was driving home last night and happen to look over in a field, low and behold there sat an old Tractor, wasnt sure what it was I tried to get up close and personal, but I was stopped by this older gentleman. He stuck his head out of the house and asked if he could help me. I asked him if the old tractor was for-sale. He said and Im quoting here,,,, "How much ya got in your pocket". I pulled out a $ 20 bill and he said sold. I almost @#$%^%$#$%^ my pants. He said it had been sitting there for quite sometime and he just wanted to get rid of it. I still dont know what its is I bought ( model, serial number year etc.) , but I will let you all know on Monday. I just wanted to share that with everyone. NO, on second thought Im gloating, I cant imagine my luck. by the way ,my wife is not very happy. Its a good day, ( laughing)

Barry,

I know the feeling. I recently landed a Ferguson TO35 and got the cold shoulder. My wife said it must be mid life, I call it a hobby. I was tractorless this winter after selling my 8N and did not realize how much I enjoy the tinkering and driving on the old beast.

Have Fun.

i know the feeling and it sure is a nice way to start the spring of 2004,i just did the same thing a few weeks ago and i was given the cold shoulder at home for awhile ,but if we dont weaken in our resolve to do these things that make sense to nobody except ourselves we will always have a smile in our heart.
enjoy the project Danny

I almost forgot,, its either a Fergy or a Ford N-series. Looks very close to mine,, a TEA-20. Saying that it could be a anything from around that timeframe. Licking my lips here in anticipation ,, Stay tuned
