Hello guys I have a few toys, one new one t o me is a tea20 It is a nice tractor, well I was going to get it running better and noticed the points were burnt, also saw sparkys coming from between the points and dist, {spacer was missing?}well I had a set of points from another te20, I put those in, I noticed the plugs they had in this machine were 3 differnt types, and all kinds of gaps,,

surprising the tractor ran pretty good this way, maybe I should have left it alone haha,, I have a book for the TO 30, are the specs for the points and the gaps for plugs the same for both units? also what would the correct plug be as I put this back together and it is running but popping like crazy, I have the FO 1342, as if it was a TO30 is this correct, also, would the initial carb adjustments start at like 1 turn each and go from there?thanks pat

They have totally different engines made by different manufacturers so the specs don't apply.
Right now I can only remember that the right spark plug is NGK B6HS, and the gap is 0.025".

If you have the Zenith 24T2 carb the top screw is an air screw, rather than a fuel screw, so turning it out is more lean. Start at more like 1 1/2 turns for the top one and 2 turns for the bottom one. They changed once or twice as the years went by so there are slightly different settings depending when yours was made but this will be close for starters.
