I realize this has been discussed several times, but need help. Went to 2 Wal-Mart Super Centers, to look for Straight Mineral oil, GL-1 in 5 Gal. containers. Found plenty of GL-5, but couldn't figure out the other oil can labels, and no-one in the store was able to help.
Question: Is there some special wording or numbers that I should be looking for? Thanks in advance, it's getting a little frustrating. TREE FARMER

It may be just the Wall Mart in your area that does not have it. Here in SW Michigan it is on the shelf.

Terry. Do you recall how the info reads on the Wal Mart containers? Did it state GL-1? Thanks for any info. TF

Tree Farmer,

Check with your local NAPA store and ask for part number NHF 65-205.
That's NAPA's number for 80W-90 GL-1.
Massey-Ferguson dealers also sell GL-1 under their part number M-1103.
Pennzoil makes GL-1 "Synchromesh Fluid", and it it sometimes available at Wally World.
Hope this helps.
