Went out this morning bright & early and leveled the hog, took the swivel off, set the top link, put the shaft on and it holds just like you said. I see no need, like you said again, for position control or limiter chains. I'm going to get a 4" longer top link just for strength (I only have about 3 threads left) but all is well. Thanks again for your help & patience. Mike

glad i could help like i said you don't need any of the chains or other stuff to make your hog stay where you want it it's all in the set up.been working with this stuff for over 30 years and have at least 45 hog on to-20 and 30s and not one use any after market chains or position control or any thing glad to help you get it set up. marlowe

Hi Maloe ... I'm interested in what you mention as "setup" to keep the rotary slasher/bushhog, whatever it's called, in position. Mine has skids either side of it and I just let it drop and run at skid level along the ground. This works but leaves drag marks and puts pressure on if left on the ground when cornering.
