Hi everyone... My to20 has room for 2 gages. The ones installed are amp ad oil pressure. I have a small red light, which I assume should be for charging, on the right lower dash. Of course, on the right lower is the choke, and on the left lower is the ignition. The ignition is not a key switch, but rather an on, off pull switch. Did they come with a key switch? I'm going to re-wire and re-configure this winter...yes, I know that's a long way off. What was the origional configuration? On the z120 where is the fitting to install a temp gage? Seems more valuable than an ammeter. Thanks in advance...Mike

I have a TO-30 and the temperature gauge is a capillary type and the bulb end goes in to a hole that is tapped into the coolant outlet elbow that the top radiator hose attaches to. Both the -20 and the -30 have the same part so the hole will be there and plugged. You can cut a hole in the dash and add the temperature gauge. According to my parts book, the TO-20 had a keyed ignition switch also, Part # 180 684 M1.

My TO-20 no longer has the key switch, but I can remember when plowing with it back in the fifties that the key is what my knee would ram if the plow hit a large rock and stopped quickly. I broke off several keys in this way.
