I just got a 1955 Ferguson TO35 with a set of original Ferguson wheel weights on it. I can't remember seeing weights like these before. I posted a photo on the help identify section (don't know how to post photo on forum) Are these common or rare? Please take a look at them.

I've never seen weights like those either. I've included a photo of my 1955 TO-35 with power adjust wheels that has one piece round weights that have been on the tractor since I can remember. I've never had them off so I don't know if they have any #'s on them. I haven't seen many of these either. One way to include a photo in your post....after you've posted the picture in the photo section is to right click on the picture, click on properties and use the url (http://...etc.) in the optional image url block of the message form.

I"ve seen a couple sets of those type weights on a fergie forklift tractors here in the south....maybe yours was refitted with them...also those spin out wheels look odd, I've never seen any quite like that design....
you might try asking big Dean over on the Harry F board, he may be able to help you....

best wishes

I've never seen any weights made like them either. What does the printing cast into them say? Several companies made aftermarket accessories for the Harry Ferguson tractors because the Harry Ferguson accessories were quite expensive. For instanse, the factory front bumper was over twice as costly as an aftermarket bumper according to an old friend who was a Harry Ferguson mechanic back in the 50's. Dealers would accomodate buyers and install an aftermarket bumper make a sale. This is one reason why there are many different styles of "original" front bumpers, wheel weights, tool boxes, etc.

The printing in the cast says (FERGUSON POWER ADJUST WHEELS)
