Hi, I have a very nice Ferguson rake that is complete, very original and field ready. I recently went through it and inspected everything. I will put fresh paint on it also. I plan on selling it. How much is something like this worth? They seem hard to come by without being totally trashed. Can somebody give me an idea on its value? Thanks, Terry

I honestly don't know what it's worth either. But I would be interested in it, if you're anywhere near central Illinois.

I live in Washington State. Things probably wouldn't work out. I do plan on getting rid of it though. One way or another. I like fixing things up but I really don't have a need for it. But, It is the nicest one I know of besides the other one that I have and plan on keeping. Thank you, Terry

Sorry you live so far away.

If I had to guess, I'd think it may be worth around $500 or so. Maybe more if you find an avid collector and it really is in good shape.

I used to run one of those when I was a kid, and would really like to have one.

Sorry to hear that. They are not that bad to haul around if you have a car trailer. I rented a u-haul for less than $20/day when I have a project to get home. Thanks, Terry

It is very nice and I have nearly gone through it completely. I have inspected all the bearings etc. I replaced things as I found stuff that wasn't up to speed. I will ask $750.00 as a minimum. I might put it on ebay. I am not sure yet, I might advertise it locally in about a week. I want to get paint on it. Truly, I am not making any money on it and it will probably be the last time I do something like this. I had a hard time not seeing it get put back in shape because they are getting hard to find. But,it consumed way too much of my time. I enjoy working on stuff like this but it just got too drawn out. I will sell it with a copy of the operators manual and parts manual. Thank you for the interest, Terry
