Wanting to know of a way to get more power from my TO20.Compression is good , so I won't change pistons. What about different; head, manifold, carb, distributer,? Valve clearance adjustment? Anything to give it more power. We pull with a three M.P.H. speed limit.

you might try turnin up the card so it runs roughat idle with no load but under load straighens out. there is just too much fuel goin throiugh at idle and under load it will use the fuel. if you really want to get into it rejet the carb.

rejetting the carb sounds like an idea to try. Can you give me some direction as for as finding other jets? Possibly a TO30 carb has bigger jets. I have heard of enlarging the jet with a drill too.

A Sherman step down would probably help me too. I was just wandering if there was anything i could do to the engine. On a hard dirt track the tractor runs out of power before spinning the wheels.
