Physically very little difference, obviously the electrical equipment is different. The only other differences are:- the size of the hole where the starter fits, its bigger on a 12v than a 6v compression ratio was different too which gave increased horsepower.

Starter, dynamo, coil. Condenser is the same.

In general, all electrical stuff will differ where voltage matters. The mechanical stuff will (or should) be the same.

The 6 volt starter will run fine on 12V.

HTH.

By the way - PLEASE DON"T SHOUT.

Thanks.
