TO35 Diesel

I am looking at a TO35 Diesel. The emblen in the grill says Ferguson but the sereal number plate has been takin off. Are there any other numbers we can use to identify it?

I'm not too hot on serial numbers, but if your grille says Ferguson, and not Massey-Ferguson, then I would guess you are looking at what we over here would call an FE-35 which is the same as an MF35, give or take a little.

Good little tractors, though the early diesels did have a rep for being tricky to start when cold, as they only had one heater for all 4 cylinders.

That's about all I can say. Sorry.

Oh, just one other thing, if I had the chance (and the money) I would probably get a 35 instead of my TED - an extra set of gears would be really handy sometimes!!!!! Oh yeah, and live PTO, too (depending on the serial number you don't have).

Thanks for the input James. This one has the 3 speed with Hi/Lo ranges. We had a 35 back when I was a kid only a Gas Model, I loved it.
