I have use of a five (5) disk plow. It appears I need to add additional weight to the front of my TO-20 to maintain a straight line of cut. Any suggestions on adding the weifgt and how much to start with?

Went back to school for basic numbers. I did learn to count to eight. It has eight disks and it looks as if no adjustments can be made. Everything is preset. I do not know how to place a picture on here but can send one if needed.

Re: I tied log to bumper. in reply to Gene Stevens OH - Tx, 09-03-2004 04:33:43
While cutting trees to big for the bush hog lack of steering began to annoy. No weight on the front end. Had a rope and chain saw. I simply cut two of the biggest logs that I thought could be lifted and tied them to the bumper/grill protector. Worked good until dark when it was realized the top log interfered with the headlights. One log is still on the tractor but secured in a better way. Looks goofy but it was a quick and cheap way to experiment. It would be a quick way to experiment with the amount of weight needed for plowing

I'd start with a couple of front wheel weights.

But after that, I think it would be trial and error.
