Afternoon Everyone
Last week I managed to break one of my lift arm s, not the arm itself but the ball that fits into the end of them. I do think that the ball in the end is suppose to stay in the arm? Where they are bolted under the tractor I tried to take it off the other night and found myself in unfamiliar ground. I can get the big nut off ( the one that actually holds the arm ). Just in front of the big nut their is this small nut all it does is turn and turn , I think its stripped. Kinda looks like there is a plate there that should come off as well. Can anybody assist me. I havent bought the new arm yet, This week. TSC hardware store here in belleville sells them for $52 ( can ) All I want to do is replace this arm, is it as simple as taking this big nut off and putting the new arm on? Any help would be great
Thanks Barry

Hi Barry,
Don't take the plate off, justhe one big nut is all you need to remove.
And, you can get new ends for those arms with the ball and socket in them. You cut off the old end and weld on the new one and away you go. They are available at tractor places.
