Hey guys, any tips on how to tighten chains. I have duo grips 13 6 28. Got them on but can't get them tight enough.

I use bungie cords as well on my Massey Ferguson 235 and they work great. Three short ones on the inside (because of the axle) and 3 longer ones on the outside -- evenly spaced.

I"ve tried the rubber bungie straps, but they don"t stay on long. Ended up buying a whole bunch of them to replace the ones I lost.

My only suggestion is to run them a bit then tighten them. Once you run them a bit you get some more slack in them.

I need help re tire chains as well. Bought a nearly new set at an auction for $20 but they were for a Massey 135 (28" tires but wider than the ones on my TEA2085. What length should the cross chains be to fit the standard tires on the TEA2085 or where should the side chains sit, ie at the edge of the rims, inside the edge or outside the edge of the rims? Right now they are several inches inside of the edge of the rims and I feel they will catch on stumps, brush etc while operating in the bush cutting wood.
