I believe my 1-1/8 to 1-3/8 adapter is the factory original and it is held on with a roll pin that you drive out with a punch. I have seen them held on with a 1/4 " bolt. If you have a 1-1/8 to 1-3/8 ORC, the roll pin is hidden behind the grease fittings or there is a spring loaded pin on the outside that you push in as you pull out. It just depends on the kind you have.

Hmmm. Mine had an over run clutch -- had to take off the grease fitting on one side and a screw on the opposite side and then drive out a pin. Most likely some sort of hidden pin that way...That what you got?

Mine had a pin hidden behind the grease fitting also. I bought the 1-3/8ths spline shaft for my TO-20. Easy fix. Shaft was about $110.00 I think.
