I just found a 3 by 5 foot old enamel sign that shows a Ford 9N and says "the ferguson system"..it appears to be original, and is enamel or porcelain. I"m guessing this was a dealership sign....If anyone could give me an idea of the info or what this is worth let me know...in the meantime it is hanging on the shop wall over my 9N. Thanks, Kenny
you can see a pic here: http://www.geocities.com/zombie3842/start.html

could be very valuable in reply to 9N Kenny, 12-04-2004 10:08:30
At the Hershey car show, you see lots of
enamel and porcelain signs for sale. Nice ones covering popular stuff are priced in the hundreds of dollars. Condition does have a lot to do with value, but I think you have a sign that many people would like and would pay a
lot for....hundreds I would say.

Kenny I forgot the ferguson sign will also have 3 hills of dirt under the plow. A saying my grandfather always said its worth only what someome is willing to pay.

Kenny you are correct this sign is a ford sign portraying the ferguson system you can tell these signs by looking at the hood you can see the radiator cap on the nose of the hood making it a ford sign. This would make it worth probaly make it worth something to a ford collector but not to a true ferguson guy. I just bought a ferguson sign alittle larger than this for 80.00.

if the picture i saw was correct it was not a 9N, it was indeed a ferguson. all of the signs or decals like that showed a tractor with a set of breaking plows behind it. as for the value, i would not by any means give it away or sell it for that matter. i would hang on to it for a while as i am sure there are people who would pay good money for it. my 2-cent anyway
