to-30 3pt hitch question and needed parts

I have a to-30 which I purchased and restoed over the summer and now have a few questions and need a few parts. First off, I am using the tractor right now to move snow up here in PA with a rear grader blade. whenever I go to reaise the blade, it takes about 5 seconds before the blade starts to raise then it moves up very slowly. Is this common, is there a way to adjust the speed, or do I have a problem?

I am also looking for a few parts if anybody would happen to have lying aroung and willing to part with. I am looking for another 3-point hitch lever stop for lowereing and raising the hitch. I have mine set real low so the blade drags the ground to remove the snow but when I am not draging snow, I have now way of setting a different height without moving the stop I already have set. I am also looking for a PTO shaft cover and a waterneck (piece where the temp sensor threads into). I also do not have a hand crank and am not sure if it is good to have especally since I have a 12v system.

Any body have any experience and advice using the tractor to move snow and is the tractor pretty stable from a rollover standpoint?

Thanks.

i use a to30 to move snow also ,however i have a Meyers plow set up in front with up and down left and right controls ,this works off a belt driven pump and the setup was designed by Zane Sherman of this and the Ford site,i use chains and loaded tires and use a rubber edge on the blade to protect the blacktop, ive used this for a few years and it works great ,now some cautions for you ,be very carefull using the crank handle if you think you need one ,it dosent care if you have 6volt or 12 volt, it will hurt you as these old tractors have quite a kick to them, also use chains as if you are on hilly terain and you are on ice beneath the snow you will have no control, all these things are from my own experience ,so good luck to you and be safe

Your lift will be slow in cold weather like Ray says.
You can pick-up a PTO cover cheap from about any tractor or implement supply, it is the same cover as all the Ford N's use.
Sounds like you need a position controller for your lift. I dug-up half my gravel drive trying to plow snow before I got a position controller, now I just "set it and forget it", don't need the quadrant stop.

Cold weather really slows the hydraulic system down; the 80/90wt straight mineral oil gets so thick it can't get throught the small openings as fast as summer weather. You may use 40wt mineral oil when the temperature is consistently below freezing for faster operation. Return to 80/90wt when warm weather arrives to prevent pump damage. If you adjust the quadrant lever with an implement attached instead of adjusting it empty you will get faster response, but when warm weather returns the hydraulics will not operate properly, and you'll have to readjust it per the shop manual. I made my own stops, however, you may find used lever stops from this list:
