i have a to-20. my throtle will move or rev up on its own. also my govener dont seem to be getting in. anybody have any suggestions? thanks

ther is a friction washer on the trottle rod assembly that becomes worn ,you can tighten it by loosening a clamp on the trottle rod and pushing it back on the spring then retighten it ,if the washer is dried out you can make one yourself and put a slit on it to get it in position ,dont take the trottle rod apart without a manual

May just need resetting or it could be something damaged or worn inside. If you would like the instructions for resetting the governor, email me at fergusontractors at hotmail dot com From what you say, the lever is moving on its own too, that can be adjusted easily.
