the front cover to my transmission seems to have a littl gap on the left side of the motor. When parked on a hill and trying to start the tracotr fluid comes out of there. Someone told me it is there in case to much fluid is put in the transfer case. IS this true or does the cover have a gap there. Can you buy the cover to replace it or what should I do. IT is the little cover to the front of the transmission right by the engine block. IF anyone can help with this I would greatly appreciate it.

Lots of guys forget to tell us what tractor it is. They are so used to working on it they think we know what it is....lol
No complete hood available yet, you can get the 2 grilles and the Tee piece in the middle also the 2 side panels but no top. Maybe you could look around for a decent one from a breakers yard. If you advertise in a mail on here for a used one someone will write in and tell you where to get one. These guys have shopped around and they know the most likely places, but you have to give them some idea of where you live so they know where to send you.

Not to change the subject but you mentioned you can get the grills and more. Can you get the same for a TO30? If so where? Thank you. Eric

Thanks John. I will call these folks and get the hood. I have read many of these notes and saw one that said there is a latch on the hood. Is that correct. If so, mine is missing. Also, I do a lot of work in uneven terrain and have cut two lower radiator hoses where I belive the frame raises and pinches the hose. Do you have a fix for that other than to weld a stop on the axle? Thank you for your time and attention. Eric

well normally there isn't a gap but its quite possible its been damaged. It will let any oil out that gets in there which can only be good. It would help us if you told us what tractor model you had so we don't have to guess and maybe we could give a more positive answer.
