As I look around for new rear tires for my TO20 and TO30, I find tires with the numbers 11.2-28 or 12.4-28 or some other decimal combination, but haven't found any 10-28 or 11-28 tires. Are these others the modern designation for the older tires, and which would be the best for these tractors that are essentially through working, and are just for show and enjoyment now?
Thanks for any help.

Art, I have a TO-30 and bought 11.2 x 28 Goodrich from Miller Tire. Your local tire dealer may also be able to get them for you. Miller has a web site that will provide you with a lot of good information and you can see what each brand and type looks like.

Art..... ....in the early 70's yer benevolent Govt do-gooders, in the guise of saving us from our slothfull sins, decreed a new method of measuring tires for safety and uniformity. So the 1940 ag-bar tire size 10-28 became the 1970 size 11.2-28; and 11-28 became 12.4-28. 'course we won't even mention such mundain things as ply-ratings, cord construction, cord material, rubber ratings, wear ratings, temperature ratings, or even heaven forbid gross tire weight ratings ie GVWR. But by godde, they all measure the same. You believe that, I have a bridge I'd like to sell you; people will actually pay-you to cross on yer bridge; make yer money back in no-timma'toll. Simple, eh? ..... .....Dell who has 14.9-24's on Massy 13-24 rims
