First of all I have to say thanks to everyone who has helped me out. I do more lurking here than contributing. Most of my questions are questions that I have been able to find in the archives but a few I have gotten from asking and reading this forum. With the wealth of information I gathered from you guys I was able to split my TO-30 and replace the rear main seal, input shaft seal, flywheel ring gear, head gasket, add a new radiator, and temp gauge. The only problem I had after that was foaming antifreeze. I searched high and low and could not find any information that would help me. I tried regular antifreeze and I tried the low tox stuff. Well I happened to notice a few little drips coming out of the weep hole on the water pump. So I ordered a new one and happy to report no more foam. It must have been sucking in air somehow.
I sure hope this helps somebody else out. Most suggestions were that I had a bad head gasket and I did not want to go through that again. So before you tear your old girl apart look real close at the water pump. Todd

I am one that love it when someone comes back and tells us what they found and how they fixed their problem ,the only way we all learn is to share what we find ,so now you have done more than lurk ,you are a real contributor and we thank you.
Danny
