I have a 1955 TO35 even with gas shut off it still leaks gas and fills the carb until it drips on the ground the first time it did this it emptied the tank any idea how to fix this problem also any idea where I can get a left fender the one with storeage space in it?

I had the same problem. I installed an in-line shut off valve after the bowl. Works fine. Just any old generic valve that an auto parts store carries will do. Good luck. Roger

I had the same problem with my TO-20. You can get a rebuild kit for the shutoff valve but I have been told by several people that they often leak after a short time. I bought a complete new valve assembly with the sediment bowl at Tractor Supply Company. Drained the tank removed the old one and installed the new with some teflon tape on the threads. Works just fine.

I agree with Neal on getting full new valve assembly rather than rebuild kit. However, you also must have problem with carburetor float bowl assembly if it is leaking as well. You may need to look at that also.
