I just purchased a reprint owners manual for my to-30. On page 10 it states to adjust soil engaging implement it is possible to adjust the depth of the implement by setting the control level. My to-30 does not adjust. It is either up or down. From other postings on this site I was under the impression the to-30 did not adjust. To make the tractor adjust an after market item had to be purchase. Am I reading the book wrong??

All Ferguson's have depth control, what they don't have is position control on the early ones. If the implement is soil engaging then the tractor should control the depth, check that the rocker the top link fastens to is not seized up as this has to move as the implement sends pressure down the top link. if you are still having problems, email me at:-

SO yes you are reading the book wrong.
