Anyone know of a conversion kit for the TO 35 that would allow me to change over to a screw-on oil filter? I have seen these on the old cars and was wondering if they made these for the tractors. It would be great not to make two or three trips to the parts house to get the right rubber O ring when replacing the paper cartridge. Thanks in advance.

If you opt for getting your parts at your MF dealler, BEWARE. They are now AGCO and their prices are way higher than other sources.

Look to your left and you will find one. I just ordered one Sunday night for $26 plus change and shipping. Terry

Thanks fellas for the help. I love this forum. How did you know that I also need the drain plug gasket? That is actually the only leak I have on my engine. I was going to make one from an old rubber gasket set. I think I will try to keep the cannister for now and try to find a Massey Dealer in my area first. Thanks again for the help.

Hi Bob;
The last time I bought oil filters for my TO-35 the rubber gasket came with the filter. In fact, I think there were two different sized gaskets in the box. The Ferg p/n is 1014219M92 which i believe is a set of three filters, if memory serves correctly. The filter box shows as Baldwin P73. In case you need a drain plug gasket: 1750118M1. I bought these from my local MF dealer, but I think you can get Baldwin (or a cross) at any auto parts house.
I've heard mention of screw-on conversion kits- you might try to seach here and the MF forum on that topic.
Good luck!
