Have a Dreyer midget from '37 that originally had Ferguson engine in it. The car is now restored but for the correct engine. Don't know what power plant was correct for that time era. Any help appreciated to complete this project.

In the early 60's the 3/4 midgets that raced in the Denver area used Ford 60's, Ferguson and Offenhowser engines.

Many Ferguson built in UK used the Standard Motor Cars 2 litre as used in Triumph TR2-3-4. That engine was also used in other cars and trucks and I don"t know when first produced. The 1937 Dreyer at least some of them had V8 Ford 60 .

The tractor engine was first made in 1947 and also used in the Standard Vanguard car & Truck, this was not the same block as the tractor though, the back end was different and the timing cover too. The Triumph came later. Which version they used in this car I do not know but probably the car version rather than the tractor version, as that one would be more adaptable.
