Front axle pivot lubrication

Hi to all,

Do some body knows if it is possible to lubricate
the front axle pivot on a TEA-20, i looked around
under the pivot dit not find place to lubricate.

According to the owner's manual, you can't and you are not supposed to. There's no good way to get grease into it and if you try to oil it, it just catches dirt and wears it out faster.

You can fit a grease nipple to the axle if you wish, it is rather a big job, as it has to be drilled and then threaded, with a 45 or 90 degree grease nipple fitted. The best way to do this, is to remove the axle, as this ensures, that you don't damage the axle pin. You will also have to drill a hole in the bottom of the radiator cowling to let the grease nipple through.
