My TO-20 was converted to 12 volts...Was it required that the distributor be changed? When I finish my rebuild I'm going back to 6 Volts, how will I know that I must change the distributor. Thanks Albert

Don't forget the 12v to 6v dropping resister. If changed to 12 volts either the coil was changed to a 12-volt unit or a dropping resister was installed in the coil input lead. It should be removed and/or the coil changed to a 6 volt unit.

the distributor didnt have to be changed when going from 6volt to 12 or back again,

Got it Danny,,just leave the distributor as is and get me one of those good 6 volt coils, not requiring a resistor
