I have a TEA 20-Furguson can someone explain to me how to adjust the clutch pedal. How much free travel do I need? This tractor grinds the gears when you try to shift. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Above the clutch pedal you have the bracket for the radius rods. The clutch stops on the underside of this bracket. When you press the clutch pedal down it shall go easily down 3/8" (9.5mm) and then stop until you force it down with more pressure.
So, it is this 3/8" that is the correct setting for the clutch pedal.
However, your problem may be caused by other things, the clutch disc may be stuck on the splines. Then it will not fully release when you press the clutch pedal down.
And, if someone has adjusted the bolts wrong that sits on the clutch it may also be difficult or impossible to adjust the pedal correctly.

Hope this helps,

Bill :-)
