I will be draining and cleaning the rear sumps on my Tea 2085. I have been following the discourse on GL-1 etc. This question is for John in UK, the oil Castroll recommends,is it just 10w30 as used in the engine sump? It sounds like a good idea as it can get quite frosty in Ontario in the winter and it would not thicken up as GL-1 would do. Thanks.... John L in Ontario

Hi John, The oil Castrol recommended was 15W-30 Multi-grade. It will certainly be better than GL1 90W in frosty weather and as it has some detergent in it it will help clear out all that sludge that forms if you don't change the oil every 12 months as recommended....John
