Its listed as item 20,21,22 & 23. The shaft(20) is broken off inside item number 21 & 22. Item number 23 is stripped as well. How do I get this off so I can get it fixed properly?? Evening Marlowe. Im not sure what it is, bear with me and I will try to explain. When one hooks up an implemet to the 3-point hitch. Those 2 bars that have the spinny wheels in each end. I will call them lift arms. Where they are permently mounted under the back axle. There is a big nut Id say about 1 1/2 inch in size. I had to take this off to put the new lift arm on. While I was taking this nut off it just snapped up in and all it does now is just spin in place, I cant get it out. In the parts book I bought off of this site its part # 825 502 M1,,,, Part # 825 505 M1 is stripped as well. They all fit into part number 825 501 M1 . If I have confuzed you I am sorry.

Barry, Hello, you're pic was unclear, but if i understand your talking about the stud that sticks out under the axel, that the 3pnt. hitch ataches to. on my to 35 ferg. that stud slips in with an o ring and has a nut on the inside. I changed mine as they were worn, I pulled the pto shaft out and got to the nuts on the inside throught the pto hole in the back. And turned it from the outside Hope this helps-ed

Make sure you take off the LEFT axle trumpet so you can do both at once. If you take off the right trumpet, the differental won't come out and you cant access the left pin.

thats the lower 3 pt. pins and they to have to be replaced with the trumpet off it has a nut on the in side and the pin has a taper to it so replace as fast as you can as to not round out the hole. not hard about 1.5 hr with right tools. you must drain the rear end oil

Hi Marlowe, Ok Ill bite whats a trumpet and how do I get it or both of them off. The 3-point arms are off the tractor now, so no worries about wear and tear on those things. I think I have bigger problems that I thought, Oh well I shall plug away

The axel housing is referred to as a trumpet because of it's shape. i.e. remove wheel and remove axel housing. It is item 2 on your picture. You will need to get to the back side of the axel housing... Thus it need to be removed from the transmission case.

I know your not thinking about it now, but as you will have the housing off and the rear end fluids drained, is there any other maintenance that needs to be done? Sure seals, breaks, hydro pump, PTO seals...

You can get it back together.

Jeff
