I bought a ferguson tractor serial# TO-25821 is it a TO 20 or a TO-30? The belly, front axel, motor, and dash are dark green and hood, gas tank, wheels, and fenders are gray I thought TO 20's and TO 30,s where all gray. The tractor was bought from the original owner who passed away his son said his dad bought it new but he can't remember what model it is.

We get tractors painted in all colours on here it is a matter of preference what colour they paint them, I know of a TEF (diesel) in France that is really bright pink.

Barry,

Your serial number would indicate a TO-20 but the color scheme is what you would find on a TO-35. On the left side of the engine you will find either an ID tag or numbers cast into it. The number will be Z-120 if it is a TO-20, Z-129 if it is a TO-30 and Z-134 if it is a TO-35. These numbers will be on those tractors with Continental gas engines.
