Can someone tell me what and how the 2 lever controls are supposed to work on the 3pt. There is a normal lift lever and the draft whatcha call it lever. Should the draft ever be used? Also when I first use 3pt with a heavy implements I get this loud knocking sound which goes away after about 15 minmutes of use, any feedback on that?

Hello Bill -

The outside (draft) lever can be helpful when plowing - if the guts and master spring are all in proper alignment. For the most part, we've found it kinda like mammary glands on a bull moose.

Most of the time the inner lever works properly with the outer lever set about 2/3 up, between 2 punch marks/arrows. Sometimes other positions are required on a particular unit, depending on the degree of misalignment internally.

The knocking may be from the relief valve blowing when the lift arms fetch up inside, at the full up position. If that's your problem, the cure - find the upper position on the position control (inner)lever where the knocking begins; back it down 1/16" and set the upper (bolted) stop to prevent the lever from moving further up.
