I have a TO-30 with a dearborne loader on it.
The boom hydrulics need to be replaced in the future. I was able to get the front seals at a hydrulic shop ( 120 miles distance), but they told me the rear seals can not be replaced. They were unable to pull the inner retaining ring out in order to pull the shaft out of the barrel. Since my lift does leak off while in the air, I know this will continue to be a problem until the cylinders are replace. My quetion is what do I replace them with?

John...I've ordered several cylinders & assorted hydraulic parts from Surplus Center. They have an internet catalog & ship to your door.

You need to measure your old cylinders diameter, & pin to pin retracted length.

John: Had the same problem. I couldn't find any replacements and really wanted double acting cylinders to get some down load on the bucket. I found some new cylinders and a new two-way valve on E-Bay that were close enough, price wasn't too bad either. I got the cylinders and found that the clevis welded on the cylinder barrel was 90 degrees out of position for the hoses and fitting to clear the framework. Since the cylinders were about 4" shorter than the original, I got a machinest friend to make me two adapters that would rotate the cylinder into the right position. Now that I got all the parts I have not had time to install them. I have fitted one up and it looks good. If the AZ on your handle means Arizona and your near Phoenix, the Cylinders I got came from Hydraulic Controls, Inc. 214 No. 43 Ave. Good company to do business with. Sorry to be so long winded but, wanted to get all the facts up front. LOL Glenn
