Does anyone know of a good used or rebuildable engine for a TO-20? My cousin has the rest of the tractor (his father bought in 1950) but the whole engine except the head is missing. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have a running TO 20 that I am using for parts for myself and will have other parts for sale. The motor seems to run decent, it did not run when I bought it as the entire fuel system was plugged. It runs (according to the gauge) 20lbs oil cold, 12 or so hot with no smoke. The gov is working. It needs a tune up for sure, the wires are fair, points, cap, rotor need replaced. The fuel tank had rusted from setting and plugged everything. I cleaned out the carb and it was missing the idle jet which I replaced. The motor has just a few oil leaks and is pretty clean. The regular wiring is real bad but it charges the battery. I can sell the entire engine if you are interested. I am located near Rock Island IL. email is jkorschotatderbyworksdotnet (replace the at and dot)

I don't have the motor out yet but could start on it after this weekend. Heres a side shot I took for a friend looking at the fan shroud. I'm using the manifold for sure, the rest can be discussed. I plan on selling the hood sheet metal and radiator as well, possibly the grill
