I have searched everywhere for a tach drive for my TO35 with the Standard 23C diesel. It is manufactured by Smiths in England. Does anyone know where one can be purchased? Are they available in England? Thanks to anyone that can help.

Bob, I'm in Australia so I'm not going to be too much help but, I just went to my local Tractor parts guy and asked for the tractometer and drive cable and gears. Had to wait a couple of days but had no trouble and they were a good price too. (I think I paid just over $100 Aus for the lot but don;t quote me).

These were NOT original parts. Made in asia somewhere.

So the point is they must be available readily so ask around. I don't know whether my local guys Melbourne Tractor Spares (Sinclair Tractor) do mail order. You may be able to buy them cheap over here due to the aussie dollar being low.

Hi Bob -

Have you tried the Old Twenty Parts Co in England?

batelle@btinternet.com is the e-mail I have for them; haven't tried it myself. Phone 01 332 792698.

I have a spare AC drive, but according to the parts book the cable and tach are different too. AC cables and tachs are listed here in Canada.
