Hi guys.... Thanks in advance for all the help y'all have given me through the last two years with my TO-20. The time has come for me to move on though. I got a great deal on a 1980 Ford 4100 and not being able to completely rebuild my Fergie, I've decided to sell it.
The pros: It starts up every time quickly. 12 volt conversion. Good block, no oil in water and vice- versa. New manifold, exhaust system New governor (needs to be set) Rebuilt distributor The 3 point hitch works fine.
The cons: It smokes and it leaks oil through the weep holes after it's been running a while. It files plugs...quickly (90 minutes) Doesn't have much power anymore. Oil pressure about 15psi. It's pretty much an antique tractor that needs to be overhauled. What's a fair price to sell it for?
Thanks,
Nick

Normally worth at least $500-600 for parts. You didn"t mention tires. That"s a big part of the price. Overhaul if you do it maybe $800 and maybe twice that if pro mechanic does it with new clutch. Top notch price on a 20, not restored, but very very good with good tires is maybe $2,000-2200 in my area. You do the math.

I bought mine for 2200 bucks with a hydraulic dumping bucket on it. It runs like a top but has no brakes...and I did have an extra wire burning wires when I got it. The guys on this forum helped me get the wiring figured out and, thanks to the guys on this forum again, I;m sure the brakes will be fine soon too...I hope. The tires are also in great shape.
