Seen your 35 Deluxe in the photo gallery. Thought I would show you what your's will look like if you repaint it. These are before and after photo's of my 1956 35 Deluxe.

mike The next one I bring home will tell the story cause I'll have to keep it in her garage and put her car outside. My buildings are all full.

No way for me mike. I've got 1 acre of land and SIX Fergusons now. The wife wasn't too understanding when I brought the last two in this past summer.

hey mike The one in the back ground is also a TO35 Deluxe 1959. It is the one that got me hooked on Ferguson's. My wife's Grandfather bought it new in 59.

Those really look nice. I was at a show western IL late last summer just before I bought my 35 and there were a couple 35's and a 40 there all painted up. We were running short on time and got there via a Steam Train ride from Rock Island and since I didn't have a 35 didn't bother to take any pictures. Heres the show as seen when we were leaving pulled by 3 steam locomotives on the old Rock Island right of way between Rock Island and Chicago

This is waiting to leave and the 3 locos arriving at Atkinson IL

Very nice. I have the itch to paint it but want to make sure everything is working first. But once you paint them, you don't want to get them dirty and I already have 2 that I dont want dirty. I can get 4 in the pole barn and my good truck but that would be it. My other 2 are Fords, heres the last one I did. Its comeing back apart to have the block line bored. Ford's oil pump is part of the front main bearing and I used a pump from one block and the block is another. Yea I knew it might not work but thats a long story.

Its just Van Sickl alklyd paint with hardener and lots of prep over laquer hi build primer. I've probably got 125$ in the paint. Its ok as they don't live outdoors.

The only real problem is that someone welded all the moving parts together which is ok for a work tractor but one wheel rusted out from leaking calcium chloride and now there is no way to remove the damaged rim without a cutting torch. If a person had access to the adjustable parts you could unbolt it from the wheel center and start over. The one is in good shape and I can hold it for a while. The tires aren't bad either.

John Nice Ford! You need to go ahead and paint the 35 and get a later model MF or Ford for the dirty work.
I"ve got a 1969 MF135 with the hood and grill removed that I use around the shop and yard.

I'm not real proud of this but snow was coming and I was waiting on lower hood panels from CA. My set was beat up pretty good and I had problems with the service panel of the hood which I've since resolved. The headlight it mounted to a piece of angle iron welded to the front bumper

hey rob....nice job!! but take this post off before john sees it. he's trying to refrain from turning his work tractor into a beauty like yours. you might be charged as an accomplice when he makes his 35 look like yours, then has to go buy another tractor for his work tractor, and his better half does something terrible to him because of it! by the way...do i see yet another 35 in the background of your "after" pic? looks like an MF, what year?
