Followup to Comments - Mine is a gas engine Ferguson. The tank is very rusted and continues to clog the intake port into the sediment bowl.

Scroll down to the "1940 Ferguson" string. I just got done coating the tank on my 30 this last weekend for the same reasons. It is a tried and true method. The product I have used for many years is from the aircraft industry. I figured if they were confident enough to do aircraft tanks with the stuff, it would work just fine on my cars and tractors! I found their web site after I replyed at the last string. WWW.Aircraftspruce.com
The price has gone up to mid $50s for a gal. now. I believe that NAPA even has a line of this type of product, but I am staying with the brand that I have grown to trust. Make sure the type you use is oked for alcohol, as most pump gas contains quite a bit of it. Dave

I don't have a fuel tank but I thought that I would mention that there is a difference in tanks between the gas and diesel models. The tanks are formed to the engine. You might try a company called "Myers Ward Tractor" at (800) 344- 9494 located near Fresno, CA. They have many salvage parts for the old Fergusons.
