Nice Pics. The setup looks real nice Ed. I really like the idea of the Trailer Ball is still there. I use a trailer alot here to move brush, and stone. And when my Woods RM-59 mower is mounted I dont have the Ball option. A overiding Clutch is a must. I learned many years ago the hard way.(The tree still has a deep wound) Gregg/Oh.

Greg,Hello, Thank you for the kind words,Like everything else i have it was junk when i bought it and i restored it over the winter. I needed something that would mow fast and didn't tie up the tractor as i run a backhoe on it a lot. It cuts a 6 ft. path at 6 mph. ( Thats mowing grass for a $600.00 investment.)It's everything i hoped it would be and is simple and very heavy built, Should last a life time Regards,ed

Steve:
The photo looks very similar to the Caroni finishing mower I just bought. Might be possible to rig the 3pt hitch mount to mount the unit on the back similar to a brush hog or the Caroni finishing mower.

third party image

Hello, Belly mowers are nice but they tend to make the tractor useless for anything else as they are hard to get off most of the time, and you wind up with a big riding mower that gets stuck easy. But it works out ok if all you want to do is mow. I found a happy medium in a 3 pnt. hitch belly mower made by Contintal Belton, Belton, Texas. On and off in 15 min., you just drive over the deck after you unhook the 3 pnt hitch. Hope this helps-ed
