Hello everyone!
I just purchased a 1960 TO 35 Deluxe (gas). What is the difference between the Deluxe and the Special? The serial # ranges appear to include both. I live in East central Wi. and need some parts, Steering wheel, rear rims, fenders etc. Any advice on suppliers? Thanks.

I am the mayor of a small midwestern town. We have a mf 35 special with original paint and in pretty good shape. The City Council wants to sell it. Questions are: What is worth? Where's the best place to sell it? Thank you. If you are interested contact me at dgray@iamotelephone.com

Hi Sklapp,

In addition to what Gregg listed, power steering was also available on the Deluxe. My '57 Deluxe came with the p/s pump (disassembled with broken parts) in a box. After several months of manual steering, I bought a new pump. My tractor has a f/e loader and with power steering it handles like a completely different machine.
Searh the archives here for info on just about everything Ferguson/MF.
Also, be sure to get a shop manual and parts book- they are inaluable. Enjoy your new tractor!

Roger

First off you bought a nice long lasting tractor,(I have a 1959,TO-35 Special) That being Said,The biggest difference in the two tractors are The Deluxe has the following items the Special does not: Tachometer,Hourmeter,a annmeter, and a two stage clutch,(Live PTO).Also they may have come standard with lights,(Im not quite sure about that, because mine has factory installed headlights, maybe a option on mine?)I have used various Parts suppliers on the internet, including this forums sponsor(Yesterdays tractor) with very good results.

I also forgot to mention a important feature: The Deluxe has a much better Padded seat!
