The part # for the Ferguson proof meter was A-To-93 there is a picture of one on Ebay # 120104132024 the aid has sold, not bad for a one page aid.

How interesting!!! Farnsworth's book "Ferguson Implements & Accessories" quotes only A-TE-93 and A-TE-95 Tractormeters for the TE series tractors which I assume would also fit the TO series. The drive came from a small wheel which appears to run on the fan belt, above the generator.

The book states "1000 RPM will advance the hour recorder by one unit hour..."

I see the unit advertised on EBay calculates one hour at 1580 RPM (?) and has a different dial to the unit in Farnsworth's book. I have seen very similar to the EBay units being advertised, new, on EBay in the UK.

I may be totally wrong but I can't help but feel the unit on EBay is for a later tractor than the TO/TE series?

The TE version was also calibrated to measure Furlongs. (Per the book TE20 in Detail).

Most all implements made in the UK have the "E" in their name and the US versions of the implements have the letter "O".

i.e the A-TO-93 vs. A-TE-93. Thus the Dials may very well be different.
