I have taken the linkage off the front end of the tractor where the spring attaches to the accelerator rod and the governor. I need a picture to put it back together correctly.
Does anyone have pictures to help me?
If it would include the carburator linkage that would be great too.
I have a 1952 TO-30.
Thanks

It isn't just a matter of fitting all back, the linkage for the governor will need resetting or the tractor will not perform well. If you need this information, email me at:-

and I will send it and anything else you may need...John

Just curious. What will need adjusting on the linkage? I took mine apart and just bolted it back together and put the spring back on. I didn't see any adjustments.

Paul, I had to buy a replacement governor compensating spring (mine was missing). If yours is an original, let me know how tough it was to hook it back up. My replacement seems MIGHTY stiff. I don't know if it's supposed to be that way or not. I'm hoping I didn't get the wrong spring. Seems like when installed that it would pull against the throttle rod so much that the friction disk wouldn't be able to hold the throttle steady. I've already adjusted the throttle linkage as tight as I could to the friction disk because it was slipping before I took it apart.

Mine was missing and I had the same experience as you did with the replacement. Very stiff and had to hook up. I can't find the part number I ordered, not sure but what I got doesn't seem like the right one
