I tried searching this forum, but did not find the paint scheme for the TE20. I also checked the ferguson website, but they just showed TO's. My tractor appears pretty original and has a reddish hood, fender and wheels with the rest silver or grey. Is this original? Sorry if this has been posted many times in advance or if I am stirring up a controversial subject.

Thanks for the response. I kinda figured it might be that way but was hoping the TE20 might have been different in paint colors. Thanks again.

Hello there.

The colors you mention on your tractor is not original. The color scheme for a plain TE 20 is very simple, it was painted all over with a color known as Battleship grey, and the original Ferguson number for that color is 3931028 M5, and this is a 1 liter (approx. 1 quart) box.
Your local MF dealer is supposed to have it or at least he is able to get it from Harry Ferguson Ltd, in England. Normal AGCO channels.

And, your entire tractor is supposed to be painted with this color, no exceptions. Sheetmetal, rims, engine, transmission, centerhousing, everything. Just mask the steering wheel outer rim, rubber parts (tires +) , and your lights lences, instruments, and paint away. :-) More or less that simple.
The leveling handle is supposed to be chrome, also the gear knob, and in some cases your steering wheel spokes too, and the dust cover under your steering wheel + the chrome outlining and letters on the Ferguson badge in front.
