Many have told me that some tractors will run better with the 3116 plug. My '55 TO-35 is at its best with the 3116. Couldn't hurt to try both, as I did.

The 386 Auto Lite plugs the diameter of the threaded end that goes in the head is too large. Do the 386 have a smaller size threaded end ?
Thanks, Murray

386 or 3116. The 3116 is a non suppression plug. I learned that from phil(va).

I'm not sure. That's the way the Autolite website lists them. I think that they have a reistor in place that "supresses" RF interference. SInce our Ferguson's don't have radios or stereo systems( at least mine doesn't!) I don't think it's necessary.

Gosh I'm confusing myself. the 386 is a suppresion (resistor?)plug so I called the 3116 a "non suppresion" plug. Been out in the sun too long!
