A couple of questions, gentlemen:

1) Would the hydraulic repair video sold on this site be helpful to me with me owning a TO35?

2) I have a grille with no retaining nut/bolt thingy mabobbers at the top. I guess they're not available, looking at various catalogs...what do people do in that case?

1. There is an MF Hydraulic Repair video available that covers the TO-35, F-40 among other MF and MH models that might be what you're looking for. I got a copy off ebay a year or two ago and I see them there every now and then.

2. Also look on ebay for the grill retaining screws. They seem to show up there quite often.

Thanks, yeah, the 20/30/8N video was the one I was thinking about. I can skip it!

Didn't realize that the thumbscrews were still available, none of the general parts places list them. There's a lesson there, too.

The studs are still there, I've been running without a grille for awhile now.

You can buy the hood screws from an MH dealer. The part number is 180630M1. They are pricey however at around 15-16 dollars each! The only repair videos I have seen are for the 20/30/2n/9n tractors so unless it is for the 35 specifically, it may not be of much help as the hydraulics are quite different.

As far as the thumb nuts atop the grille go, I would imagine that common wing nuts in the proper thread pitch would work. Are the studs still in the hood? My TO-35 has removable thumb nuts with pressed or welded in studs on the hood.
