This was a very popular implement and they sold thousands worldwide. It was painted all over Ferguson tractor grey. It is highly unlikely that you would be able to find out just when that one was made as any records have gone but someone may have one with a similar number and also know the date they got it.

I am sure it will look great even in Ford colours...lol...There was one made by Sherman's for the Ford, it was slightly different to the one you have but it was for the same job, a very underrated piece of equipment, no matter which one you have, everyone should have one for their Tractor. Good luck at the show.

John I agree yhat they are underated, when I was 14 -15 or so our neighbor had a pond dug and he with an 8-N and Deaborn scoop moved all the soil. It took all summer and into the fall. I bought that scoop from him 23 years ago,I still use it.

Thanks again ,Joe

Dave

Go to Google Earth and you can check the distance between the two.

Oh, and beware - they all drive on the wrong side of the road over there!!!

:-)

Oshkosh to Winamac, Indiana is 289 miles, driving time 5 hours 14 minutes on Freeway 41. Nice drive around Lake Michigan but you need to navigate through Chicago.

Email me if you need the directions.

How is that - from Outback Australia?

Bob
